Tasks
Acquiring a thorough knowledge of every detail of the projects to be able to react to any issues that may arise.
Interacting with clients or subcontractors to ensure project deadlines are met and the estimated timelines in the contract are respected.
Being recognized as the project manager in order to manage communication with subcontractors and clients during project execution, resolving any issues that may arise.
Analyzing and approving contract changes, time sheets, and maintaining documentation on the progress of the work.
Acting as the safety and quality supervisor on-site.
Monitoring the profitability of the contract, managing subcontractor and installation costs, as well as equipment, machinery, and crane rental costs, among others.
Providing training to anyone in need and reporting regularly on the installations and the progress of the project to the facilities manager.
Acting, if necessary, as an operational support point in activities such as: Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.
Commissioning systems and equipment.
Diagnosing and identifying faults and complex failures of any type of equipment.
Quickly applying corrective actions on-site or remotely.
Performing any other related tasks as required by the position.

Job requirements
Advanced proficiency in English 50% of the time in order to communicate with English-speaking subcontractors and clients.
Health and safety card for construction sites.
Vehicle required for travel to various projects.
Expertise in interpreting engineering, electrical, and mechanical plans.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction industry.
A diploma in electromechanics, mechanics, electrical engineering, or a related construction field.
Class C license (asset).
