Industrial Finishing Laborer

Tasks

• Operate a forklift.
• Organize, sort, wash, and hang metal parts produced in the workshop.
• Use mechanical tools and machines such as grinders, hammers, wrenches, and general tools.
• Work on parts, components, and tools according to specifications.
• Perform machining and drilling tasks.
• Collaborate with the production team for structure assembly, as well as the mounting and dismantling of parts.
• Conduct a general quality check of assembled products.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

Job requirements

• Forklift operation (a strong asset).
• Knowledge of crane operation (an asset).
• High school diploma.
• Familiarity with using tools for screwing, drilling, assembling, and loosening various components.
• Experience in assembly (a strong asset).
• High importance placed on workplace health and safety.
• French and English, both written and spoken (an asset).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• To facilitate commutes and minimize travel time, it is preferable to reside on the South Shore of Montreal and have access to a car.
