Tasks

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and road tests on vehicles.
  • Generate necessary reports and oversee work orders.
  • Manage the preventive maintenance program (PEP) and follow up on warranties.
  • Identify parts needs, keep inventory up to date, and organize the workshop efficiently.
  • Install devices such as radios, cameras, and GPS systems on new vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical failures.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work areas.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Vocational diploma in heavy-duty mechanics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in heavy-duty mechanics, including diesel, propane, and electric engines.
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
  • PEP certification (an asset).
