Your future role on our team

To pursue project and client development in the Sept-Îles region, BBA wants to bolster its local multidisciplinary team. Working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, this team is actively involved in developing the Sept-Îles region and in executing various projects in the mining and metals, and energy sectors. This expertise is combined with an unrivalled commitment and understanding of the issues involved in operating and maintaining industrial power systems.

By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to assist our industrial clients in the energy and mining markets with their operations and their maintenance or growth projects. In more practical terms, you'll be called upon to perform site surveys and tests on medium- and low-voltage electrical equipment, as well as participate in the commissioning of new equipment and systems. You'll also have the opportunity to help with various stages in project execution. What's more, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality professional services and for maintaining strong client relationships.
BBA in Sept-Îles is all this... and more! It's an excellent opportunity to get away from the big cities while still having access to the services and amenities of a dynamic city of over 25,000 inhabitants.

Additionally, you'll be mentored by various experienced engineers and benefit from BBA's network of recognized experts.

With us, you'll get the opportunity to...

  • Assist our industrial clients in their day-to-day operations in the field: troubleshooting, root cause analysis, staff training, shutdown planning and asset management.
  • Perform site surveys.
  • Participate in equipment testing and commissioning.
  • Perform short-circuit, power flow, protection coordination, arc-flash hazard studies and harmonic content analyses as well as steady-state and transient analyses in industrial power systems.
