We are looking for an Industrial Engineer reporting to the Industrial Engineering Team Leader, Assembly to help us support production. In this role, you will have a major impact in supporting the growth of the organization. You'll be at the forefront of helping BRP optimize production.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Offer production support on industrial engineering concepts and work as a team with them.
  • Coach your various internal customers and act as change agents on Lean strategies.
  • Establish assembly routings and determine logical and optimal sequences of operations.
  • Draw up specific work instructions.
  • Lead "kaizen" workshops aimed at optimizing plants and introducing new models.
  • Create links between different tools or computer systems to guide operators' work.
  • Establish the required operator assistance.
  • Influence upstream engineering in order to standardize procedures and obtain an efficient mixed model.
  • Evaluate the variants of each workstation in order to take action and minimize them.
  • Participate in the PFMEA
  • Determine standard production times via AVIX software through mixed production.

THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in industrial engineering
  • 0 to 3 years of experience
  • High proficiency with diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of CATIA, 3DVIA and SAP software
  • Proficiency in industrial engineering techniques and value added concepts
  • Ability to conduct time and motion studies to optimize operational efficiency
  • Strong analysis and synthesis skills and independence
  • Fluent level in french is essential.
  • Ability to communicate in English (in order to communicate with different suppliers, with other BRP sites located in the United States, Mexico and Finland, in order to consult standards available only in English, etc.).
  • Availability for day shift or occasional evening shift teams, as needed
