RELIEF JOB POSTING

Classification: Food Services Worker Department: DIETARY

Status: Relief - no guaranteed hours Pay Grade: As per CUPE/SAHO Contract

Availability Required: 30% availability Positions: 2 positions available

Position Description: Under the direction of the Cook/Working Supervisor, assists with production and distribution of food and beverages to residents/patients/clients, staff and family and provides and maintains a clean and safe working environment. Assemble and prepare food, serve, clean, sanitize and disinfect work areas and equipment. The employee will wash dishes, pots and pans manually or by machine, dispose of soiled linen and remove garbage. The employee may provide orientation to others. The employee will verify supply orders received and priorize work so as to perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with standards and regulations.

Qualifications: Grade X education, Food Safety Handling Certificate

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES:

Shifts - 3.5 hour, 6.5 hour shifts. Employees will be required to work any combination of days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
