Join our growing team as we begin #buildingthefutureofcanola in the Regina. Located in the Global Transportation hub, our new state-of-the-art facility is projected to have an annual production capacity of 1 million metric tonnes and will provide a consistent and fast point of delivery for farmers and end users. Cargill expects the facility will add approximately 70 full-time positions by spring 2024.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordination of inventory and routine ordering of products. Stock inventory locations.
  • Perform duties related to reservoirs including visual inspection, draining, cleaning, filling, topping off, changing filters and breathers.
  • Make mechanical modification of systems as directed to facilitate sampling and filtration, and other proactive improvements.
  • Schedule, collect, label and ship samples with requisite details, for analysis.
  • Complete lubrication reports based on applicable OSW (Operator Standard Work) and SOP (Standard Operation Procedures).
  • Collecting equipment vibration data in the field.
  • Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial work platforms
  • Operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric tools, as well as lifting/rigging equipment.
  • Troubleshoot common lubrication-related procedural and equipment problems
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant, and must be able to work in confined spaces.
  • Basic use of a computer, including data entry.
  • Must be able to work independently without supervision to prioritize and complete scheduled tasks.


Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two (2) years' experience in the mechanical industry.
  • Experience with precision maintenance
  • Prior experience utilizing ultrasound equipment for lubrication applications an asset.

Training will be provided at one of our current facilities in Clavet, SK or Camrose, AB.
