Q-Line Trucking is looking for Bulk Company Drivers based out of Saskatchewan to join our professional team.


SUMMARY
The Company Bulk Truck Driver will operate a super-b hopper unit to transport and deliver materials to customers. Duties include long-haul driving, loading and unloading procedures, and maintaining e-logs. This position requires initiative, dependability, and customer focus.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Operating super-b combination units to transport and deliver loads to customer

•Perform trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety and road worthiness

•Maintain daily logs, trip sheets, inspection sheets, and other necessary paperwork

•Comply with provincial, state, and federal laws and regulations including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours, and occupational health and safety

•Communicate daily with dispatch team regarding load details, safety concerns, and scheduling

•Ensure proper cleaning of hopper trailers to avoid cross contamination

•Operating an Anhydrous Ammonia trailer (Driver will go through company orientation and courses to ensure the Bulk Driver complies with all provincial, state and federal laws and regulations)

•Operating super- B liquid tankers, drivers must be able to handle hoses with product in them

•Maintain clean driving record by taking proper safety precautions

•Monitor and maintain reasonable fuel economy

•Maintain a clean and tidy interior and exterior of tractor/trailer

•Must be able to climb up and into hopper trailers for cleaning purposes

•Other duties may be assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Class 1A driver's license required
• Minimum of 2 years of super-b experience preferred
• Specified knowledge and experience in deck considered an asset
•Must be able to safely operate a tractor-trailer unit both on highway roads and in city traffic.

•Ability to work with minimal supervision.

•Ability to communicate in English

•Ability to use smartphone/device required.

•High standard of safety.

•Must be able to pass DOT & RANDOM regulated drug &alcohol testing.

•Must hold valid driver's commercial license.

•Willingness to full-fill full-time hours as defined by DOT regulations.

•Strong customer service skills required.

•A high level of patience.

•Ability to exert force up to 50kg.
