Job Description

Dr. Stephanie Ardell is seeking a compassionate and skilled General Practitioner (GP) to provide coverage during her maternity leave, from February 2025 to January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a locum doctor to join a well-established, patient-centered practice with a focus on a broad range of general medicine, from birth to geriatrics, with a higher population of female patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general medical care to a diverse patient base, including prenatal care, pediatrics, adult care, and geriatrics.
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients across all stages of life.
  • Collaborate with a team of GP colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in low-burden weekly home call schedule (approximately 1 in 7 weeks).
  • Flexible scheduling – locum may choose to work as little or as much as desired during the maternity leave period.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide timely follow-up as needed.

SURE Health Clinic (formerly Alliance) , is a 10,000 square feet multi-disciplinary polyclinic with several exam rooms, operating/ treatment rooms, lab, x-ray, Ultrasound, ECG and spirometry. Lowest overhead for Fee for service contract.

    Job Qualifications

    Candidates in consideration must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
