Essential Responsibilities:

Work closely with several functional areas including Production planning, Inventory, supply management, and material flow to root cause and correct material shortages, inventory discrepancies, reporting issues, and consumption issues.

Attend daily parts meetings to review and update open HPRs. Provide need dates to the Inventory Manager. Coordinate the delivery of materials to the Point of Use and resolve part availability issues.

Investigate and assist in finding root cause of material shortages in assigned departments. May provide recommendations for solutions.Run critical shortage reports.

Recommends procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management.

Process transactions for inbound/outbound materials.

Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance.

Counts and resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production. Perform Inventory counts.

Ensure that production personnel have the parts they need to produce the desired production a timely fashion and communicate part availability issues and resolution to operations and other key stakeholders. Coordinate and kit material per Production plan.

Education, Skills & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to work with cross functional teams including other client facilities

Ability to multitask with high attention to detail

Demonstrates professionalism

Strong communication skills Self-motivation and willingness to be part of the Material Flow Team

Demonstrated computer and technical knowledge

Essential Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand 75% of the time

Must be able to work in aloud shop environment

Frequently will work outside

Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to pick parts

Occasionally works on uneven surfaces

Frequently moves/lifts/carries materials weighing up to50 pounds.

Must be able to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers

Must be able to read,write, hear, and understand English

Must be able to climb, stand, stoop, walk, sit, and type
