About this opportunity:
The Millwright is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of rotating equipment. The duties will be performed in an outdoor process facility under the direction of the Maintenance Department. Performs work in a way that is consistent with standard procedures, applicable training, specifications, and regulatory standards, with attention to completing tasks in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. Work is performed both inside and outside, in a variety of weather conditions and is considered physically demanding.

What you'll do:
Perform preventive end predictive maintenance on rotating equipment
Troubleshoot and repair rotating equipment
Participate in daily rotating meetings
Provide support to engineering as needed (projects, field walks, knowledge based)
Provide support and feedback to planners and schedulers
Complete installations on rotating equipment
Assist to develop rotating procedures
Support turnaround activities
Work out of lift equipment such as scissor lifts, bucket trucks and ariel lifts
Contribute and align to Cenovus safety culture and standards
Take training to keep current on pumps, turbines, compressors and other rotating equipment standards and policies
Who you are:
Journeyman Millwright License/Certificate required or a related technical degree
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Driver's license is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in installation and or maintenance of rotating equipment in an industrial environment is required
Understanding of and application of blueprints, isometric drawings, P&ID's, and technical diagrams
Ability to satisfactorily pass any applicable written or field tests and training as required by the Company
