What you'll do:
Ensure health, safety, and environmental goals are met to prevent accidents and harm
Ensure appropriate troubleshooting analysis, failure analysis, and technical solutions are successfully executed
Investigate accidents and near-misses, and prepare and conduct safety meetings
Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement improvements for the project
Focus on proactive maintenance and reliability for the plant's rotating equipment and systems
Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Process improvement teams
Align with all Control of Work (CoW) and Process Safety policies and procedures
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field required
Minimum 1+ years experience in refining or a similar process industry, such as chemical, manufacturing, or nuclear, in an engineering position required
Previous refinery experience preferred
Proactive and collaborative with a proven track record in engineering roles
Outstanding problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
Demonstrated ability to determine and implement technical solutions
