What you'll do:
Mentor and coach operations personnel and process engineers
Lead area process engineering efforts, prioritizing tasks and ensuring self-verification
Uphold standard methodologies and raise concerns about high-risk areas for long-term reliability
Provide troubleshooting expertise and support efficient operations
Optimize variable costs through proactive energy management
Evaluate and recommend catalyst options
Participate in HazOps, LOPAs, and Incident Investigations
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Conduct plant tests and maintain accurate models
Support innovation and growth projects
Provide technical input for Capital Projects
Ensure compliance with Control of Work and Process Safety policies
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required
Minimum 7 years experience in refining or similar industries such as chemical, manufacturing, or nuclear required
Refinery experience preferred
