The Yukon public service has a unique opportunity for recent graduates who have a post-secondary diploma or degree but lack real-world work experience. With GradCorps, you can kick-start your career while putting your passion, ideas and energy to work with the Yukon public service.

The Department of Community Services has a GradCorps opportunity for a Project Manager with the Infrastructure Development Branch. This position supports the full range of professional level, project management services spanning the total project life cycle from initiation phase (including concept development, needs analysis, justification reports) through the planning phase (including design, project plan and preliminary design, regulatory approvals) to the implementation phase (design, tender, construction, commissioning).

This position will work for a one-year Term from approximately April 2025 to April 2026. The salary will be 80% of the starting salary - $75,601

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • Experience with contracts or finance is an asset.

  • Strong interpersonal, communications and influencing skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge relating to budget management, scheduling, and work plan preparation.


Additional Information

Conditions of Employment: Valid Yukon Class 5 driver's license.
Job Requirements: Willingness to travel within Yukon.


NOTE: To qualify for the GradCorps program, you must:

• be a resident of Yukon or a person of Yukon First Nations ancestry*
• have graduated with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution within the past two years (2023, 2024 or 2025 grads - all requirements for graduation must be complete before internship start date)
• have little or no work experience in your field of study

*If you are a resident of Yukon who completed your studies outside of the territory, you may apply up to two years after graduation.
