Essential Responsibilities:
Perform:
• Customer order review & comparison with the initial quotation upon transfer of the project file from the Commercial team to Project Management.
• ERP data maintenance
• Management of all project documentation
• Invoicing according to the contract terms and collections assistance as needed
• Administrative closing of the project
Lead:
• Project kick-off meeting with internal contributors, assigning roles, responsibilities and targets
• Customer kick-off meetings to communicate the nature of the work, set expectations and clarify any issues with the order.
• Project follow-up meetings (internal and external) and generate summaries and action plans as needed
• Coordinate all activities related to the project (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, etc.)
• Margin preservation and improvement efforts, with close follow-up of project spend vs budget
• All customer communications to manage expectations, provide visibility and grow the relationship.
• All aspects of a customer visit to GE Vernova facilities as required.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar / equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Project Management experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, including internationally
• Perfectly Bilingual (English/French) spoken & written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• SAP Knowledge is an asset
• Experience in the high voltage transmission and/or power generation markets is an asset
• Comply with pre-employment screening, including verification and background check.
• Eligible to work in Canada
